küçük bir kızın ölümünün üzerinden beş yıl geçmiştir. annesi henüz yeni yeni toparlanmak üzere iken gelen bir telefon herşeyi değiştirir: "anne benim... gelip beni al." eski bir polis ve doğaüstü olaylarda uzman bir foto muhabirinin yardımı ile anne o güne dek gizlenmeyi başarmış ürkütücü gerçeği açığa çıkarmak için umutsuzca bir araştırmaya girişir: kendi adlarını redden okülist bir grup, bilimin karanlık yüzü, içindeki karanlık sırları ve başka şeyleri barındıran terk edilmiş sahipsiz evler... iğrenç şeytani bir tuzak.
